DSL Tigers/Padres/Red Sox

In 1990, the Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres, and Boston Red Sox teamed up to form the dreadful DSL Tigers/Padres/Red Sox. The team finished 8-62, the worst record in Dominican Summer League history. It was the first DSL entry for the Padres, while the Tigers and Red Sox had both sent players to co-op teams in 1989, both of those teams finishing below .500 as well. The Tigers would continue to send players to split affiliates through 1993 before having a full DSL Tigers team in 1994. The Padres and Red Sox did likewise through 1996, before forming the DSL Padres and DSL Red Sox respectively.
