Biographical Information[edit]

Curtis King had excellent major league and minor league stats. In the majors, he pitched for three years for the St. Louis Cardinals under Tony LaRussa, with a lifetime record of 6-2 with 2 saves, and an Adjusted ERA+ of 123 (tied with Juan Marichal).

In the minors from 1994 to 1999, his ERA was 2.84 and he had 69 saves.

He pitched his most major league games in 1998, the year when his teammate Mark McGwire hit 70 home runs.
