Biographical Information[edit]
Curt Bernard played in 1900 and 1901 for the New York Giants. He also had a minor league career of at least 15 seasons, seven of which were spent with Los Angeles. Bernard played with Albany during part of 1899 and in 1900, breaking into the majors with the Giants on September 17, 1900. He played 20 games that year, so he was playing pretty regularly at the end of the season. In 1901 he played 23 more games, with the last coming June 24. He spent part of 1901 with Albany and again in 1902 also, leading the league in batting. The Sporting Life of March 8, 1913, listed him on the Rochester roster.
