Crown Lighter Lions
At the close of the 1976 season, the Fukuoka Baseball Corporation announced that the team's new sponsor became Crown Lighter, and that the team’s name for the upcoming season would be the Crown Lighter Lions. At the end of the 1978 season, the team announced that it would be sold to Seibu Railway and would relocate to Tokorozawa, Saitama. The team’s new name became the Seibu Lions, and ballpark would be Seibu Lions Stadium.
