Biographical Information

Craig Gentry spent the first two years of his college career at the junior college level. He went undrafted after his junior year due to Tommy John surgery, but made it back for his senior season. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 10th round of the 2006 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Jay Eddings for $10,000 and made his pro debut that summer.
