Team Bio

The Corpus Christi Barracudas played in the Texas-Louisiana League in 1994 and 1995. In 1994, they went 58-30 for the best regular-season record, then topped Alexandria in the finals, 4 games to 1. They were managed by Mark Wasinger. All-Stars were OF Ron Reams (.292, 19 HR, 19 SB, 82 RBI), DH Steve DeAngelis (.332, 23 HR, 79 R) and RP Ruben Felix (6-0, 14 Sv, 2.42).

The club fell to 55-44 its second year with Wasinger still at the helm. All-Stars were 1B Mike Cantu (.317, 24 HR, 79 RBI), UT Lino Connell (.301, 18 SB), SP Gary Eave (13-2, 2.02), SP Kevin Henthorne (12-4, 2.96) and RP Jerry Santos (5-5, 24 Sv, 2.15). Eave was 2nd in the TLL in ERA and Henthorne was third. OF Mike Felder hit .352, 3rd in the league in average.
