Copperton is a ghost town in central Utah, located in the mountains 10 miles southwest of Salt Lake City, UT. The became deserted when the nearby coppermine in Bingham Canyon closed down, and Bingham Canyon High School, which was here, relocated to nearby South Jordan, UT.
