Biographical Information

Clint Stubbs is the brother of Drew Stubbs.

Clint played baseball, basketball and football in high school and competed in track. The Texas Rangers took him in the 49th round of the 2006 amateur draft, 48 rounds after his brother was taken that year. He went on to college and hit .250 with 12 RBI for the 2007 Texas Longhorns. He transferred to Louisiana Tech and batted .204/.235/.258 as a sophomore. His junior year, he improved to .304/.427/.367 with 15 steals in 18 tries. His senior season, he produced at a .322/.421/.434 rate with 16 steals in 24 tries and 40 runs in 53 games. He tied for third in the Western Athletic Conference in stolen bases, tied for 4th in triples (4) and led in times caught stealing.
