Biographical Information[edit]

Cliff Musamba was an outfielder for the Zimbabwean national team in the 1999 All Africa Games. He played two games apiece in RF (where Zimbabwe had no true starter), CF (backing up Andrew Kotamo) and LF (backing up Lewis Kufazvinei). He went 1 for 7 with a triple, RBI, one steal in two tries and two errors. His lone hit came in a loss to Ghana. Zimbabwe won the Bronze Medal.

Musamba later played and coached for the Athlone Athletics in Cape Town, South Africa. he also coached baseball and softball at a high school level. He worked as a district administrator and development officer for the Zimbabwe Baseball and Softball Association for 10 years. He has been an account manager in computer research at Repucom South Africa, founded the Musamba Sports Group, published SAsportsBusiness.co.za from 2006-2010 (the first sports business website in Africa) and established a non-profit called Heart of a Champion Africa that teaches character development.
