Biographical Information[edit]
Minor league 1B Clayton Sheedy was a member of the 1923 and 1925-1927 Baltimore Orioles (IL), topping .330 three times, 25 HR once and 115 RBI twice. He managed the 1947 Lancaster (PA) Red Roses, the 1948 Milford Red Sox, and scouted for the Boston Red Sox from 1949 until his death.
Sheedy was the head baseball coach at his alma mater, Georgetown for two seasons, 1932-1933.
