Biographical Information[edit]

16-year-old Claude Ruel hit .257 in 12 games for the Sherbrooke Indians in 1955. He was also playing junior hockey at the time, his career lasting from 1955 to 1958.

He later coached the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens for five seasons, leading them to a Stanley Cup victory in 1968-1969.
