Biographical Information[edit]

Claude Rohwer, the younger brother of Ray Rohwer, played two games for the San Francisco Seals in 1920. He returned to O.B. with the Charleston Pals in 1922, hitting .294 in 112 games as a middle infielder. Rohwer went home to finish his career with the Sacramento Senators in 1923-1924, mainly as a third baseman. He hit .295 and .284 in 126 and 120 games respectively.

After baseball, Rohwer became a prominent attorney in Northern California. The local paper called his funeral "one of the largest ever held in Solano County".
