Biographical Information[edit]
Clarence Woods pitched a couple of times for the Indianapolis Hoosiers of the Federal League in 1914. He gave up 1 run in 2 innings of work. He was one year older than teammate Edd Roush.
He was an Indiana boy, born in a town (Woods Ridge) which no longer seems to exist, although it may have been near or part of what is now Dillsboro, IN, where there is a "Woods Ridge Road".
Woods seems to have lived for many years in Rising Sun, IN before he died there in 1969.
