Biographical Information[edit]

Claire Eccles made her debut for Team Canada in the 2014 Women's Baseball World Cup at age 16. She got the start against Australia in the second round and tossed four shutout innings (3 H, 1 BB, 0 K) against the eventual Bronze Medalists before Heather Healey relieved her; Canada lost 6-5 in extra innings. As Canada's lone southpaw in the 2015 Pan American Games, she had the team's highest ERA, with 4 walks, a hit and 3 runs in two innings for the Silver Medalists; Kate Psota was next-highest at 6.01.
