Biographical Information[edit]

Chun-Wen Wang played in the CPBL and TML for 5 years.

Wang was drafted by the Taipei Gida in the first round of the 2002 TML draft, and he hit .240/.291/.313 in 2002. When the two leagues merged in 2003, Wang was assigned to the First Financial Holdings Agan, and he hit .257/.286/.333 in that season. Wang recorded a .265/.356/.373 batting line in 2004, but he only played 16 games combined with the big club in the next three season. The La New Bears (the Agan had changed their name) released him after the 2007 season, and his professional career ended. He later coached Kao Yuan University.

Overall, Wang had hit .255/.306/.334 with 119 hits and 2 homers in 5 seasons in the CPBL.
