Biographical Information

Outfielder Chun-Kai Chuang played in the CPBL for 6 years.

Chuang was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 10th round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, but he mainly stayed in the minor league in his first two seasons, only playing 6 games with the big club. Chuang .169/.203/.225 in 32 games in 2017, then he improved to .270/.319/.297 in 2018. He appeared in 3 games in the 2018 Taiwan Series as a defense replacement, but he didn't get any at-bats and the Lamigo Monkeys beat them in 6 games. Chuang recorded a .250/.296/.329 in 2019, but he stayed in the minor league for the entire 2020 season and he announced his retirement. He became a coach of the Lions after retiring.

Overall, Chuang had hit .232/.278/.280 with 63 hit in 6 seasons in the CPBL.
