Biographical Information[edit]
Chuck Daniel pitched one game for the Detroit Tigers, in 1957; he was one year older than Al Kaline.
He is the only major league player to come out of the University of the Ozarks as of 2006.
He played eight years of professional baseball, missing the 1954-1955 seasons serving in the military. After his baseball career, he worked 35 years for Navistar. Source: Chuck Daniel obituary.
