Biographical Information

Christian Poulsen split his college playing career between Harper College and Maryville College, graduating from the latter in 2019. He was a two-way player throughout his career with most of his non-pitching time spent playing the infield. After graduation Poulsen joined Elite Baseball Training for six months before the Toronto Blue Jays hired him as a Player Development Intern in 2020. Poulsen returned to Elite in 2021 as a Biomechanical Hitting Analyst. He also spent the summer in a more traditional coaching role as an assistant coach for the summer league North Adams SteepleCats.

In 2022 the Baltimore Orioles hired Poulsen to coach hitters on their DSL Orioles Orange squad. He was hitting coach of the FCL Orioles in 2023 and Delmarva Shorebirds in 2024.
