Biographical Information[edit]

Chris Stout pitched for the independent White Sands Pupfish in 2016 and 2017. He was 3-1 with a 6.20 ERA in 40 relief appearances in 2016 and in 2017, he was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 4 showings. In 2016, he led the league in appearances (3 ahead of #2 Jake Swartout) and tied Chris Gammon and Chris Rogers for second in games finished with 18, behind leader Mike Cowan's 21. He also managed the Pupfish to a 17-50, last-place finish in 2017.

He is currently (2024) an assistant coach at Peru State College. He had previously coached at Marietta College , North Carolina Wesleyan College and Grinnell College
