Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Seelbach played a decade in the minors before getting his shot with the Atlanta Braves in 2000. After a second cup of coffee in 2001, he went to Japan in 2002.
Seelbach was in the Atlanta organization from 1991 to 1995, rising as high as Triple A. At the end of the 1995 season, he was traded to the Florida Marlins as the player to be named later for Alejandro Pena. He then spent time in the Seattle Mariners organization before coming back to the Atlanta organization in 1999.
He was 10-6 in 1995, split between two teams. In 1998 and 1999, also split between two teams, he was 9-3 each year.
