Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Latham was drafted as a middle infielder by Los Angeles Dodgers in the 11th round of the 1991 amateur draft. In his professional debut with the Yakima Bears that year, he led the Northwest League in hitting (.340), runs (70), hits (98), and total bases (148). He also had 33 stolen bases and was caught stealing a league-leading 30 times. In the 2005 Baseball World Cup, he batted .200/.310/.400 for Team USA with 7 RBI in 9 games, handling 18 putouts error-free in the outfield.
