Biographical Information

Jones was taken from the Syracuse Chiefs roster by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1988 Rule V Draft. He was returned the following spring, but the Dodgers then drafted him from the Blue Jays in the AAA phase of the 1990 Rule V Draft.
