Biographical Information

Pitcher Chris Hill played in the Pittsburgh Pirates system in 1984. He was taken by the club in the 31st round of the 1984 amateur draft and went 0-7 with an 8.10 ERA in 18 games (6 starts) between the GCL Pirates and Pocatello Gems in his lone professional season. In 43 1/3 innings, he allowed 60 hits and 34 walks (2.169 WHIP), while striking out 27 batters.
