Biographical Information[edit]
Chris George won an Olympic gold medal for the United States in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Chris was brought into the majors as a starter and in his entire career made only three appearances as a reliever, as opposed to 44 starts. In 2003, he set an all-time major league record for highest ERA (7.11) in a season with a winning percentage of at least .600 (9-6, minimum 10 decisions). He pitched for the Kansas City Royals from 2001 to 2004.
