Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Bertrand has been a college coach.
Bertrand was All-Conference while at Louisiana College. From 2005-2012, he was a coach for LSU Shreveport, making his way from graduate assistant coach to pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. He also spent 2010 as pitching coach of the Alexandria Aces. In 2013, he became head coach of the University of Texas at Tyler. He resigned after the 2016 season with a 119-69 record at UT-Tyler. Bertrand then moved to Northwestern State University of Louisiana as an assistant in 2017. He was promoted to head coach for 2024.
