Chip Caray
Grandson of Harry Caray and son of Skip Caray.
Caray is currently a radio and television broadcaster with the Atlanta Braves, but is probably best known as television broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs from 1998 to 2004, when he was let go in a purge of the broadcast team brought on by disgruntled Cub players. This purge also ousted popular long-time color man Steve Stone, who had been with the Cubs off-and-on since 1983, partnering for much of that time with Chip's grandfather, Harry. The purge's ringleader is believed to have been Cubs reliever Kent Mercker.
Prior to his tenure in Chicago, Caray broadcast games on television and later radio for the Seattle Mariners from 1993 until 1995.
