Biographical Information[edit]

Huang was drafted by the Lamigo Monkeys in the eighth round of the 2017 CPBL Draft, and he hit .286/.384/.508 in 32 games in his rookie year. He crushed his first home run on April 10 against Hung-Cheng Wang, and he became the first local player to hit a pinch-hit dinger in his first career at-bat. Huang had a .261/.320/.360 batting line in 2019, but he spent the entire 2020 season in the minor league (hitting .332/.413/.488 there) because the Monkeys already had All-Star outfielders like Yu-Hsien Chu. Huang stayed in the minor league for the entire 2023 season, and he hit .207/.260/.209 there. The Monkeys released him after the 2023 season, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Huang had hit .269/.345/.392 with 61 hit in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
