Biographical Information

Chih-Wei Lin played in the TML for 6 years.

Lin was signed by the Taipei Gida when they were founded in 1996, and he hit .316/.366/.421 in 24 games in 1997. Hie slumped to .236/.278/.346 in 1998, then he hit .228/.290/.333 in 51 games in 1999. Lin improved to .352/.420/.430 in 2000, but his batting line fell to .208/.258/.350 in 2001. Lin's batting line was .270/.320/.369 in 2002, then he announced his retirement after the two leagues merged in 2003.

Overall, Lin hit .261/.315/.368 with 183 hits and 9 homers in 6 seasons in the TML.
