Biographical Information[edit]

Chih-Hui An pitched in the CPBL and TML for 5 years.

An was drafted by the Taipei Gida in the 1st round of the 1999 TML draft, and he was 4-2 with a 4.54 ERA in his rookie year. He went 4-4 with a 3.69 ERA in 2000, and he was selected into the 2000 TML All-Star Game. An went 4-2 with a 3.98 ERA in 2001, and he recorded a 4.75 ERA in 30 relief outings in 2002. When the two leagues merged in 2003, An was assigned to the First Financial Holdings Agan. However, his ERA was 9.12 in 13 games then he announced his retirement.

An’s repertoire included a fastball, forkball and curveball.

Overall, An was 12-10 with a 4.60 ERA, pitched 285 2/3 innings and struck out 211 in 5 seasons in the CPBL and TML.
