Biographical Information[edit]
Chih-Hao Hsu played in the CPBL and TML for 6 years. His uncle is former NPB All-Star pitcher Genji Kaku.
Hsu represented Taiwan in the 1995 World Junior Championship. He was drafted by the Taichung Agan in the first round of the 1999 TML draft, but he only played one game in his rookie year. He hit .221/.269/.349 in 2000, and Hsu recorded a .252/.347/.388 batting line in 2001. After hitting .256/.318/.346 in 2002, the two leagues merged and Hsu was assigned to the Macoto Cobras. He recorded a .204/.259/.250 batting line in 2003, then he slumped to .183/.274/.215 in 2004. Hsu was released after the 2004 season, and his professional career ended.
Overall, Hsu had hit .226/.293/.316 with 138 hits and 9 homers in 6 seasons in the CPBL and TML.
