Biographical Information[edit]
Chick Evans is best remembered for pitching a perfect game in the minors with the Hartford Senators of the Connecticut State League, a game in which no opposing hitter hit any ball out of the infield.
He pitched 17 games for the Boston Doves in 1909 and 1910. Although he was one of the ten youngest players in the league, each year the Doves had at least one other player his age on the team.
He died before his 27th birthday.
