Shortstop Charles "Chick" Cargo was the brother of Bobby Cargo. Chick played minor league ball from 1896 to 1914, mostly in the New York State League. He led the NYSL with 110 runs in 1901 and 94 runs in 1902. He also led the league in at-bats twice.

Overall, Cargo hit .263 in 2,138 games with 314 2B and 432 SB.
