Chicago Herald and Examiner
The Chicago Herald and Examiner was formed in 1919 by the merger of the Chicago Herald and Chicago Examiner. It lasted until another merger in 1938, with the Chicago Evening American, with the resulting paper being named the Chicago Herald American. That lasted until 1958, when the paper was renamed Chicago's American and lived on for another decade, until 1969.
The paper covered Chicago, IL. Warren Brown wrote for the paper for much of its run under the Herald and Examiner name.
