Biographical Information[edit]

Chia-Chi Yeh pitched in the CPBL.

Yeh represented Taiwan in the 2015 U-18 Baseball World Cup, going 1-1 with a 3.60 ERA. He was drafted by the Lamigo Monkeys in the 3rd round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, and he debuted on October 10, 2015. He set the CPBL record for the youngest pitcher in the CPBL, breaking Cheng-Yang Chu’s record. Yeh mainly stayed in the CPBL minors in his first four seasons, and he only pitched 7 games combined with the big club. He pitched 28 games with the big club in 2019, but his ERA was 7.82. Yeh then missed most of the 2020 season due to elbow injury, and he had a 3.00 ERA in 14 relief outings in 2021. Unfortunately, Yeh underwent Tommy John surgery in 2022, and he missed 2 seasons.

Yeh's repertoire included a fastball (peak 97.5 mph), cutter, sinker, knuckle curve, changeup and slider.
