Biographical Information

Cheng-Tsai Yen had a brief career in the CPBL.

Yen was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 7th round of the 2008 CPBL Draft, and he had a 3.64 ERA in 30 games in the minors in 2009. The Lions released him after that season, and he signed with the Brother Elephants. However, Yen struggled in 2010, and his ERA was 6.48 in 22 appearances. He was released again after the 2010 season, and his professional career ended.

Yen’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 88.8 mph), changeup, forkball and slider.
