Biographical Information

Infielder Che-Yen Hsu played in the CPBL.

Hsu was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 6th round of the 2020 CPBL Draft, but he spent his first two seasons in the CPBL minor league, only playing 9 games combined with the big club. He collected his first career hit against Jake Brigham on July 12, and he ended up hitting .175/.233/.225 in the 2022 season. Thus, Hsu was mainly placed in the minor league in 2023, and he only played 9 games with the big club; his batting line was .280/.308/.400 in the minors.
