Biographical Information[edit]

Chase Rowe has been a college coach.

Rowe played one year of college ball at Gulf Coast Community College and his final three years at Slippery Rock University. Rowe was a two-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference first team member and hit .412 as a senior, second in the PSAC. He played in the 2003 Division II World Series. He then became head coach of La Roche College at age 23. He was 305-170 in his first 13 seasons, 2007 to 2019, and was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year 7 times. He also guided the Slippery Rock Sliders in the summer of 2009.

Rowe left La Roche to become a minor league hitting coach for the Detroit Tigers in 2020. He was assigned to the Norwich Sea Unicorns, although the season was canceled due to COVID-19. He returned to La Roche in September 2020 but only remained for one year.
