Biographical Information[edit]

At one point, Charlie Weber was a co-owner of the San Antonio, TX minor league team. Charlie's major league time consisted of one game, at age 29, that he pitched for the Washington Senators in 1898. He played in the minors at least from 1891 to 1904, and sometimes was a position player. He also managed in the minors during part of 1903. He died in 1914 in Beaumont, TX, after being shot to death during an argument at the dinner table.

There has been only one major leaguer by the name Webber - Les Webber, but seven by the name Weber, of which Charlie was the third.
