Biographical Information[edit]
A player named Ritter played 2 games at second base for the Buffalo Bisons in 1885. He is listed as "Charles Ritter" in most records, but no one is certain if that was his real first name, and who the person behind the record was. There was a man named Charles Ritter who came from Buffalo at about the right time and died in Florida in 1958, but there is no direct evidence that this person was the ballplayer.
