Biographical Information[edit]
Charlie Reynolds was in the majors in 1889 - he played one game with the Kansas City Cowboys and 12 games with the Brooklyn Bridegrooms. Playing catcher, he hit .217.
Born in Williamsburg, IN, Charlie went to college in the same state, at DePauw University. He played minor league ball beginning in 1887, and was with the minor league Kansas City Blues the year before he was in the majors with a Kansas City team. After his time in the majors, he was with the Denver Grizzlies for parts of two seasons. He also managed in the minors for part of the 1887 season. Many years later, he died in Denver, CO.
He is not to be confused with Thomas Reynolds who is sometimes also called Charlie Reynolds.
