Biographical Information[edit]
Charles King was an American League umpire in 1905 working a total of 162 games at a time when the regular season consisted of 154 games.
He also worked in the New England League in 1904 and the West Virginia League in 1910.
He started in baseball playing for the Augusta Kennebecs in the New England League in 1895, but got injured and turned to umpiring.
