Biographical Information

Chance Sanford tripled for his first MLB hit. It would be 13 years until another member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, similarly-named infielder Chase d'Arnaud, next did that. His son Wyatt Sanford was drafted by the Bucs 26 years later in the 2nd round of the 2024 amateur draft.
