Biographical Information[edit]
Chan-heong Jeong is a pitcher in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Jeong was MVP of a national high school tournament in South Korea in 2007. At age 17, he made the South Korean national team, pitching in the 2007 Baseball World Cup. The team's youngest player, he was only called on once, facing the weak Thai national team. Jeong allowed two runs on 5 hits and no walks in five innings, fanning six.
Drafted by the LG Twins, Jeong made his pro debut in the 2008 KBO, going 3-13 with a 5.50 ERA. In 106 1/3 innings, he allowed 131 hits and 46 walks. He led the KBO in losses.
