Biographical Information[edit]
Chad Porter is a college baseball.
Porter was an assistant college at Ohio Valley University for two years then was promoted to head coach. Chad went 98-147 in five years in that role; they made the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament for the first two times in school history. The school set a record with 37 wins in 2006 and Porter was named WVIAC Coach of the Year.
In 2008, Porter became the second permanent head coach in Texas A&M International University, staying through 2014 with a 124-189 record.
Porter then returned to Ohio Valley University as Athletic Director in 2015. He retook the baseball coaching reins in 2016 and remained there until the school's closure in 2021. He then became head coach of Warren High School.
