Biographical Information[edit]
Cesar Presbott immigrated from the Dominican Republic to the US, working originally at Macy's. He became a Philadelphia Phillies scout in 1972 then moved to the New York Yankees in 1982. He signed Dellin Betances, Eric Duncan and Julio Franco among others. In 2009, he was awarded the A.B. "Turk" Karam Award. He has set up a foundation to help people in his hometown of Santo Domingo.
