Cecilio Miller led the Panamanian league in steals at least once. He swiped 14 bases in only 11 games in the 1950 Amateur World Series, leading all players. He set a record for steals in an Amateur World Series, a mark that stood for 30 years until Il-kwon Kim topped it in 1980.
