Do players move here from the drafted player category once they have signed? - --Mischa 19:52, 6 December 2008 (EST)

The way I have always assumed it, Drafted Player, Signed Players, Minor League Players, and Player are all mutually exclusive categories. One could be in all four categories during a career but never in any two at the same time. So to answer your question, if a drafted player were to sign with a team but hasn't debuted as a professional yet, this would be the category for them.
