Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Casey Wise played in the 1958 World Series as a member of the Milwaukee Braves.
After his baseball career ended, he went to dentistry school at the University of Tennessee and was a practicing orthodontist in Naples, Florida, for more than twenty years. He died at age 74 after heart surgery.
Wise's father Hughie Wise also played in the majors, and his brother Hugh Wise Jr. played in the minors.
