Casey Jacobson
Casey Jacobson was named assistant pitching coach of the Chicago Cubs in 2025, replacing Daniel Moskos who had left to become pitching coach of the Miami Marlins. Jacobson had been working for the Cubs for the past five years, most recently as the senior coordinator for minor league pitching development. Before that, he had worked for Driveline Baseball as a pitching instructor.
From 2013 to 2019 he was the pitching coach at Macalester College, a part-time position, and in 2018 and 2019 he was an assistant coach at Augustana University, his alma mater, from which he graduated in 2012 with a degree in physics when it was still known as Augustana College.
