Biographical Information[edit]
Casey Fien was a starter for NAIA William Penn College as a freshman, then returned to his homestate to pitch at Golden West College as a sophomore. He then moved up to D-I Cal Poly-SLO as a junior and senior. Fien was taken by the Detroit Tigers in the 20th round of the 2006 amateur draft. Signed by scout Tim McWilliam, he made his pro debut with the Oneonta Tigers that summer.
